On-Site Yoga Classes

The Inspirit team of licensed and experienced yoga instructors are ready to lead you through a series of beneficial postures and breathing exercises designed to enhance mental and physical health. The class is suitable for all levels, with your yoga instructor guiding you through every yoga posture safely, suggesting alternatives if necessary. We suggest a maximum of 15 participants per yoga class, which can be held at lunch time, throughout the day or after work hours.

You will need a suitable area for the class where participants have enough room to lie down and stretch out. Your Inspirit instructor can supply up to 6 yoga mats. For larger ongoing classes, we may ask you to purchase extra yoga mats to keep on your premises. Participants should wear comfortable clothing which does not restrict their movement. You are unlikely to need a shower after yoga, so you can get changed straight back into your work clothes if necessary.

Meditation is a practice that is thousands of years old. In the West, research began in the 1970s to demonstrate the physiological benefits of meditation, showing how its practice evoked the ‘relaxation response’ enhancing mood, creativity and overall wellbeing. People sometimes associate meditation with religious people or yogis, but actually it is being used nowadays by all types of people including many prominent business leaders to reduce their stress levels and aid their decision making. Examples include Bill Ford (Ford Motor Company) and former Apple CEO, Steve Jobs.

Our experienced Inspirit instructor will guide you through the meditation session, using a mixture of practices such as seated or walking meditation, visualisations and mindfulness. We aim to make this class accessible to all levels of attendees. You do not need to have had any previous experience of meditation, there is no religious association and you don’t need to be able to sit crossed legged for an hour!
